About Us

ALBAS (ALB Animation Studios) is a small organisation that produces animations both figure (stop motion) and CG (Computer Generated - 3D)
We create our animations using software such as: the basic Movie Make 2, all the way up to Pinnacle Studio 10 and Maya etc.

How do we create the Animations? For 'The Mushroom Man' introduction (our first completed task), we built the scenery and the characters out of play dough, paper and cardboard etc. and then put the objects together for each scene. For each frame we had to move the object slightly then take a shot then move it a bit more etc. Then later we added CG for effects and for titles. For other movies like ‘Stingerz’ (for example) we are using total CG except for a few models which we will digitally insert.
